Description: This book has
multiple activities and experiments for biology
students. It uses various garden vegetables to discuss
key points about genetics, evolution, ecology, and plant
biology. This may not be the most practical resource for
a GEON member because it is not free and must be ordered
but it would give good ideas of activities to take into
the classroom.
Reviewer Comments:
“Well done- at the end of each chapter
there is a list of primary journal articles used to
develop the lesson.”
“I think students would really enjoy
the real world connections with common plants such as
cucumber, corn and tomatoes.”
